A method to quantify by IR thermography the levels of insulation of insulated in existing buildings.
Alpheeis has coordinated and managed the project PROTOMERES/NADIIAH wich has been carried out by CERTES (French University of Paris XII) EDF, FLIR and Alphéeis in framework of PREBAT (ADEME/ANR).
The objective of the project is to provide an accurate and fine methodology to assess the quality of insulation in buildings and a tool tu perform diagnostics.
The work aimed to improve the metrological procedure for determining the optimal position of the different devices.
The importance of the determination of the thermophysical characteritcs of the first plaster layer has been demonstrated. A solution for a semi-infunite medium is proposed to determine the effusivity of layer.
The specifications of a portable device has been proposed. Model under consideration during the project are in good agreement and it was possible to combine different approaches.
