Ecol’Air: for a better control of indoor air quality in schools
The indoor air quality in schools is a specific problem for several reasons: children are a significant public, subjected to a density of pollution more important than in other premises.
With the support of Ademe and ATMO Federation (in partenership with Air Normand and ATMO PACA) Alphéeis aim is to identify possible ways to improve the taking into account of IAQ in schools. From an analysis of existing tools in France and abroad and a field investigation in about 12 schools in Region PACA and Normandie, Alphéeis will elaborate tools dedicated to the different stakeholders.
Those tools should meet the needs identified by the on-field study while taking as a starting point the success stories led abroad. The last phase of this study is to try these tools in one or two schools to assess their relevance.
