Environmental Approach of Territories and Sustainable Districts

Context:

Local governments act directly on more than 12% of national greenhouse gases emissions (French GES). Besides managing their heritage, communities, through their competence in land use, can favour the implementation of a sustainable energy policy.

Today, thanks to the SRU law: Solidarité et Renouvellement Urbains (Solidarity and urban renewal), local governments have tools to implement a coherent policy in favour of sustainable development, on a local scale.
Developing projects of Eco-neighbourhoods or Sustainable districts is an answer to this logic: to integrate the demands of sustainable development to a land use projects

Nevertheless, creating a project of sustainable development raises many interrogations, on one hand because of the diversity and multiplicity of public and private actors, and on the other hand because of the complexity of urban, financial and technical tools to implement.

Our positioning:

The district or territory level that expands beyond buildings represents real opportunities to enhance the consideration of energy and environmental concerns.

Alphéeis brings their skills to these two axes in order to develop new methodologies, new tools and to allow local governments and actors involved in operations of sustainable neighbourhoods or urban areas physical planning, to integrate sustainable development in their projects.
