Making pre-diagnosis in the Alpes-Maritimes’ schools and nurseries, as part of the national campaign to monitor the air quality (IAQ) in schools and nurseries

Alphéeis has been selected by the MEEDDM (Ministery of Environment) to perform pre-diagnosis in the Alpes-Maritimes’ schools and nurseries in the framework of the first phase of the national campaign for IAQ measurement. These pre-diagnosis consist of a detailed analysis of the characteristics of the building (buildings, materials, work ...), equipment (ventilation, heating ...) and behavior of users (household, business, ...), which may have an impact on IAQ.

In collaboration with ATMO PACA (association accredits to monitor the air quality for the region PACA), Alphéeis meets various stakeholders: school or nursery director, technical services for the communities, maintenance personal. An analytical framework and a web interface is used to transcribe and to share results.
The results of these pre-diagnosis will help to explain and to justify the quantitative analysis obtained by ATMO PACA on formaldhéyde concentrations, of benzene, and carbon dioxide. The results are expected by summer 2010.
