The liberalisation of energy markets has led to the deep mutation of many economic sectors. At the same time, global warming urgently requires new regulatory measures, and pushes many public and private actors (such as local governments) to make environment protection a strong area in their development strategy.

This new economic and regulatory environment is, for all actors, an opportunity to review their positioning, re-evaluate their partnerships, develop new services, invent new financial mechanisms, in order to meet to the growing requirements of environmental considerations, and to create an economic and social context in of favour of sustainable development in our society.
