Study of fuel poverty in Europe
Over the last three years, Alphéeis has coordinated the project EPEE adopted by the European Commission under the umbrella of the programme Intelligent Energy for Europe. This project brought together around Alphéeis 6 European partners (ADEME, CLER, CUNIC, Ecoserveis, NEA, CESTEC).
Among the activities conducted under this project, we can notice the success of European and national seminars organized by partners of the project. for example, the two events, organized in France, have brought together over 200 people.
Besides having significantly contributed to the awareness of European players on the urgency to implement concrete actions in the field of fuel poverty, this project has developed:
• a guide of recommendations for national and European policy makers, proposing priority actions to be initiated to reduce fuel poverty
• guides for local actions, adapted to the contexts of different countries to help field actors to initiate consistent programs of actions to fight against fuel poverty.
